    The United States Marine Corps is now using Schmidt & Bender scopes on all Scout Rifle Day Scopes for use on the Corps' sniper weapons. A modified version of the Schmidt & Bender 3-12 x 50 Police Marksman LP II scope is standard equipment on all .308 and .50 caliber USMC sniper rifles.

    The Schmidt & Bender 3-12 x 50 PMII LP is replacing a 10x sniper scope which has been in use for the last 25 years. The Schmidt & Bender scope was selected from products submitted by 25 different companies as the only riflescope to meet or exceed all of the USMC’s rigorous specifications.

    The Schmidt & Bender scope includes an elevation dial made to USMC specifications. Especially attractive to the Marine Corps is the fact that the 3-12 x 50 PMII LP can be used on both .308 and .50 caliber weapons, with changes only in windage and elevation dials.

    While the modified USMC version of the 3-12 x 50 PMII LP is not available to the public, a similar model is available.

  • Luxe 8x68 de JP-Ridon

    Hemos probado el rifle artesanal de JP Ridon en el potentísimo calibre alemán 8x68 con acción original Mauser . Cuando Raúl Crespo me presentó el rifle me dijo que estaba puesto a tiro y que no tenía prácticamente retroceso gracias a su excelente equilibrio y culata. Después de tirar con el puedo calificarlo de "agradable" tirando con el gatillo de pelo los 5 proyectiles impactaron consiguiendo una buena agrupación. A pesar del potente calibre, el rifle presenta poco retroceso y es muy preciso.

    Muy preciso, clásico y de cañones intercambiables, aparentemente es un rifle normal, sin embargo el Schultz&Larsen es un magnífico rifle de cañones y cerrojos intercambiables...Para desmontar el rifle solo es necesario soltar 4 tornillos. Para que el punto de impacto no varie el armazón del rifle posee unas bases integrales y un beding en epoxi...Efectuada la correción del visor los cuatro disparos entraron muy agrupados en el 10, en un diámetro inferior a 2 cm... Es una excelente opción para quienes deseen un rifle de cañones intercambiables y con buen precio. Totalmente recomendable.
